A trans-provincial tour group arrived in Shiyan, central China's Hubei Province Monday from Yinchuan via chartered flight, the first of its kind since the province's trans-provincial tourism was resumed on July 17.

The tour group consists of 102 members, all from Yinchuan, capital of the Ningxia Hui autonomous region. They will kick off a five-day sightseeing tour in Hubei.

Their arrival marked a significant step in the resumption of trans-provincial group tours for the province where the COVID-19 epidemic wreaked havoc. Hubei is expected to welcome more trans-provincial tour groups via chartered flights. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
