A chartered flight carrying 102 tourists from South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region landed at Shiyan Wudangshan Airport in Hubei Province at around 2 p.m.on Tuesday.
The flight, arranged by China International Travel Agency's Guangxi branch, was Hubei’s first trans-provincial tourism chartered flight of Guangxi where Shiyan’s anti-epidemic counterparts came from during the COVID-19 outbreak earlier this year. Hubei was hit hardest in China.
During the five-day excursion, the tourists are scheduled to visit Shengshui Lake Scenic Resort, Turquoise Museum and Wudang Mountain.
In March, Shiyan announced all A-level scenic spots in the city would open to visitors from Guangxi for free in two years and introduced a lifetime free policy for the medical members of Guangxi anti-epidemic counterparts. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
