The GDP of central China's Hubei Province reached 2977.942 billion yuan, which shrank 10.4 percent and narrowed from a 8.9-percent decline in the first three quarters, as the province's economy has rebounded with strong resilience and vitality, data from Hubei Provincial Bureau of Statistics showed on Tuesday.

The added value of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries amounted to 297.548 billion yuan, 1169.453 billion yuan and 1510.941 billion yuan, respectively.

Hubei's total value of imports and exports reached 294.13 billion yuan for the first three quarters this year, a year-on-year increase of 6.8 percent. Exports gained 178.45 billion yuan while imports earned 115.68 billion yuan, which climbed 4.2 percent and 11.1 percent, respectively.

Hubei’s online retail sales rose 20.9 percent in September year on year. From January to August, the province’s revenues of express delivery, Internet life and Internet advertising service industry soared by 13.6 percent, 86.7 percent and 61.4 percent, respectively.(en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
