Covering a total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, the expo consists of five sections in aspects such as the COVID-19 prevention and control, and poverty alleviation.
Industrial design is a key link in the industrial chain, and the vigorous development of industrial design plays an important role in improving industrial fundamental capacity, promoting the upgrade of consumption and deepening supply-side structural reform, Xu Kemin, chief economist with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), said at the opening ceremony.
The three-day event is organized by the MIIT center for international economic and technological cooperation and the Wuhan municipal government.
