During the three-day New Year holiday (Jan.1-3), Hubei received 8.609 million tourists and brought in a total tourism revenue of 3.866 billion yuan, according to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hubei Province.
The 30 key scenic areas under supervision witnessed 254,200 tourists and realized a tourism income of 54.872 million yuan.
Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province, boasted a booming tourism way of night tour. During the New Year holiday, 832,900 tourists took part in the night tours in Wuhan, totaling 738 million yuan in tourism income.（en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
