More domestic air routes will be operatedby Wuhan Tianhe Airport during this summer and autumn, with 12 new travel air services and added flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, local media reported on March 16.
According to the plan, airroutes to popular domestic tourist destinations such as Jining, Weifang, Xuzhou, Jiayuguan, Dunhuang, Wuzhou, Wuyishan, Kaili, Zhangye, Zhongwei, and Wanzhou, will open after the summer and autumn schedule begin on March 28.
By then, the airport will have 92 passenger destinations across the country, basically covering the tourism cities in northwest and southwest of China.
With the gradual heating up of domestic tourism market, the average daily domestic passenger arrivals and departures handled by the airport have outnumbered 60,000, returning to the level ofthe same period in 2019.
After March 28,the flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Lanzhou, Xiamen, Chengdu, Wenzhou and Beihai will all beadded in the airport. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
