Hubei exported agricultural products worth 15.2 billion yuan in the first half of this year (H1), up 71.1 percent year on year, local customs said.
The province's agricultural products, such as sauces, mushrooms and inactive yeasts, were exported to 155 countries and regions around the world. They accounted for 4.6 percent of China's total agricultural exports.
In the six-month period, the export value of agricultural products in 10 cities and prefectures of the province exceeded 100 million yuan. The city of Suizhou took the lead with export value totaling 5.71 billion yuan, followed by Xiangyang and Yichang. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
