Hubei experienced a significant tourism surge during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday that ended on Friday.

AllA-class scenic spotsin the provinceprovided services to over17.45 milliontouristtrips and visits over the eight-day holiday,increasingby43.76 percent and 109.4 percent from the same period of 2019 and 2022, respectively.The figuresof touristtripsand tourism revenueboth hit record high.

According toonlineplatform,thetourists from outsidetheprovinceduring the holidayaccounted for58.8 percentof the total, who greatly promoted thecatering, accommodation, shopping, transportation and other related industries.Compared withthe same period of2019,the consumption of cateringroseby 194.9 percent, accommodation by 128.7 percent and leisure by 72 percent.
