The international cargo and mail throughput ofthe Huahu Airport in Ezhou, Hubei Province, passed the 20,000-tonnemilestone for the first time as a planecarrying imported goods from Frankfurt, Germany landedon September 26, 2023.
Sincelaunch ofits first international cargo route on April 1,the airport had seenthe international cargo and mail throughput exceed 20,000 tonnes in just over five months. As the fourth professional cargo hub airport in the world and the first of its kind in Asia, the airport is demonstrating its advantages and playing an increasing role in drivingregionaldevelopment.
