Wang Zhonglin, governor of Hubei Province, met withPiotr Calbecki,president of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regionof Polandon Tuesday in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.
After expressing warm welcome to Piotr Calbeckiandhisdelegation, Wang said that Hubei enjoys geographical advantages, abundant scientific and educational resources, complete industrial system and beautiful ecological environment.
He added thatHubei Province and Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regionhave strong economic complementarity, solid cooperation foundation and broad prospects. We hope to take this visit as an opportunity to deepen bilateralcooperation in new energy vehicles, optoelectronic information, education, science and technology, culture, trade and other fields, so as to make new contributions to thehigh-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiativeand the development of comprehensive strategic partnership betweenChina and Poland.
Piotr Calbeckispoke highly of Hubei's economic and social development, and expressed his gratitude for Hubei’s support to Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regionduring the epidemic. He stressed that Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regionand Hubei Province have forged a deep friendship. It is hoped to advance practical cooperation in industrial development, scientific and technological innovation, ecological protection, education, culture, medical treatment and health. He expected more Hubei enterprises to invest in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, in an effort to achieve mutually beneficial development.
