Embrace innovation for a win-win openness. The 2023 Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering And Developing (HCH), sponsored by the People's Government of Hubei Province and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, alongside the International Microelectronics Industry Talent Conference and the 13th Tian Changlin Forum, was held this morning at the East Lake International Conference Center in Wuhan.
科技创新，一靠投入、二靠人才。湖北省委统战部副部长、省社会主义学院党委书记邵志祥表示，微电子技术的发展水平和产业规模，已成为衡量一个国家经济实力和科技实力的重要标志。如今，全球第三代半导体产业进入快速增长期，各地都在积极布局微电子产业、争抢微电子产业方面人才。今年华创会举办“国际微电子产业人才盛会暨第13届田长霖论坛”专场，就是把握时代趋势、紧盯发展潮流，广泛汇聚侨智侨力，为湖北乃至全国微电子产业及人才发展集思广益、献计出力。
Technological innovation relies on two key elements: investment and talent. Shao Zhixiang, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Hubei Socialist College, stated that the development level and industrial scale of microelectronics technology have become important indicators of a country's economic strength and scientific and technological capabilities. Nowadays, the global third-generation semiconductor industry has entered a period of rapid growth, and various regions are actively laying out microelectronics industries and competing for talent in this field. This year's HCH features a special session titled'International Microelectronics Industry TalentConference and the 13th Tian Changlin Forum.' This session aims to grasp the trends of the times, focus on development currents, and gather extensive wisdom and strength from overseas Chinese communities, contributing ideas and efforts to the development of the microelectronics industry and talent in Hubei and across the country.
作为华创会重要论坛之一，走过13载的“田长霖论坛”已成为海外人才与地方联系的重要桥梁和平台，通过紧密对接、联系和宣传，促成了一批战略合作和人才项目落地。本届论坛上，光谷人才集团与东湖高新集团现场签约，双方将在人才发展先行示范区核心区域共建“海外人才创新中心”；湖北大学和武汉产业创新发展研究院建立协议，双方在成果转化、技术攻关、人才培养等多方面达成合作。
As an important forum of the HCH, the'Tian Changlin Forum,' which has been running for 13 years, has become a vital bridge and platform connecting overseas talents with local entities. Through close engagement, connection, and promotion, it has facilitated the implementation of several strategic collaborations and talent projects. At this forum, Optics Valley Talent Group signed an agreement with East Lake High-tech Group. Both parties will jointly establish an'Overseas Talent Innovation Center' in the core area of the Talent Development Pilot Demonstration Zone. Additionally, Hubei University and Wuhan Industrial Innovation Development Research Institute established a cooperation agreement, reaching collaboration in various fields including achievement transformation, technology research, and talent training.
创“芯”者永无止境，追光人永远年轻。当前，“产教融合”成为教育界和微电子产业发展共同面临的新课题。聚焦这一话题，在论坛巅峰对话环节，参会嘉宾围绕“微电子产教融合人才引育新模式”的主题，从不同视角进行讨论，寻找微电子产业人才引育的新模式、新路径。
The pursuit of'core' creation is endless, and those who chase the light remain forever young. Currently,'industry-education integration' has emerged as a new topic of common interest for both the educational sector and the microelectronics industry development. Focusing on this topic, during the summit dialogue session of the forum, participants discussed the theme of'New Models of Talent Introduction and Cultivation in Microelectronics Industry-Education Integration.' They explored this theme from various perspectives, seeking new models and pathways for talent introduction and cultivation in the microelectronics industry.
本届论坛由武汉市委组织部、武汉市人才工作局、武汉市委统战部、武汉东湖新技术开发区管理委员会、湖北大学承办。共有来自国际微电子领域的华人华侨、院士专家、知名企业家，以及高校代表、湖北省委组织部、武汉市委组织部、武汉东湖高新区相关单位负责人等200余人参会。
This forum was organized by the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee Organization Department, Wuhan Talent Work Bureau, Wuhan Municipal United Front Work Department, Administration of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone, and Hubei University. The event was attended by over 200 people, including overseas Chinese in the international microelectronics field, academicians and experts, renowned entrepreneurs, representatives from universities, officials from the Hubei Provincial Party Committee Organization Department, Wuhan Municipal Party Committee Organization Department, and relevant units of the Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Zone.
