The 2023 Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering And Developing (HCH) was held at the Wuhan East Lake International Conference Center on the afternoon of the 16th, with a special session for"Double Excellence Recommendation" in Wuhan.
创新驱动，离不开科技项目、创新人才的支撑。武汉市委常委、统战部部长胡勇政表示，近年来，武汉统一战线部署实施“双优引荐”行动，举全市统一战线之力，集全市统一战线之智，引荐优质项目、引荐优秀人才和研发团队，努力推动武汉经济社会高质量发展。统一战线各单位、各部门竞相行动，统战成员广泛参与，取得阶段性成效，共获取项目信息209条，签约项目105个，签约金额780.517亿元；获取人才信息62条，研发团队信息21条，积极为武汉市高质量发展贡献力量。

Hu Yongzheng, a member of the Standing Committee of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, stated that in recent years, the Wuhan United Front has deployed and implemented the"Double Excellence Recommendation" action, leveraging the strength of the city's united front, gathering the wisdom of the city's united front, recommending high-quality projects, excellent talents, and research and development teams, and striving to promote high-quality economic and social development in Wuhan. All units and departments of the united front are competing to take action, with extensive participation from united front members, achieving phased results. A total of 209 project information has been obtained, 105 projects have been signed, and the signed amount is 78.0517 billion yuan; Obtaining 62 pieces of talent information and 21 pieces of research and development team information, actively contributing to the high-quality development of Wuhan City.
厚植桑梓情，共绘同心圆。武汉市委统战部副部长、市工商联党组书记程春生表示，所选取的这些项目和人才团队，只是统一战线广大成员“双招双引”成效的部分代表，充分说明统战系统围绕中心、服务大局，大有可为。希望更多的华侨华人和各界人士，了解武汉“双招双引”的真心诚意和政策举措，感受武汉热潮涌动、加速发展的强大气场，走进武汉、看好武汉、深耕武汉。

本次专场活动由武汉市委统战部（市侨务办公室）、武汉市工商联、武汉产业创新发展研究院承办，共有来自省市级领导、院士学者、华侨华人专业人士、侨商及港澳台代表人士，“双优引荐”工作成员单位负责人，民营企业代表等200余人参会。
This special event was organized by the United Front Work Department of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee (Municipal Overseas Chinese Affairs Office), Wuhan Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Wuhan Industrial Innovation and Development Research Institute. More than 200 participants including provincial and municipal leaders, academicians and scholars, overseas Chinese professionals, overseas Chinese businessmen, representatives from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, leaders of member units of the"Double Excellence Recommendation" work, and representatives of private enterprises attended the event.
